CHALLENGE
The goal was to design the logo, visual identity, and website for the 2nd Meeting of the Iberian Ecological Society (SIBECOL) and the XXI conference of the Iberian Association of Limnology (AIL), together with the 21st National Congress of Ecology (Portuguese Ecological Society – SPECO). The main challenge was to meet the Client’s request and have a logo closely linked to the Aveiro city.
OUR WORK
Science Crunchers® started by developing the logo using typical elements (the tile-like elements and the sardines) from Aveiro. Based on the logo, our team selected the main colours, font and style for the visual identity to be used not only in the meeting communications but also to develop the website. Besides the regular pages found in conference and meetings’ webpages, this also includes an electronic platform that allows visitors to pay for their registration and a platform for abstract submission.
