CHALLENGE
The Client approached the Science Crunchers with a request to develop multiple infographics on the impacts of regulation fees on farming costs specifically for the shellfish and salmonid industry and targeting several states of the USA. The challenge was to develop the graphical concept and design to communicate the scientific information, create the layout for each infographic and develop the contents based on the extensive data-sets provided by the Client.
OUR WORK
Upon receiving the Client’s documentation, our science team selected and crunched down part of data to be depicted in the infographics according to the Client’s briefing. The information was then analysed by the designers to create the graphic layouts that best suited the type of information to be shown. Those initial sketches were validated by the Client and a final layout was then developed. The contents for the multiple infographics were created with the Science Crunchers design team making the needed adjustments to the graphical layout so the different types of information could be correctly highlighted.
