Lucta is a global company dedicated to the manufacture of fragrances, flavours, and animal feed additives. Lucta needed to develop graphic guidelines for communication materials for the feed additives division, such as icons, product sheets, scientific sheets, slide decks, among others. All those guidelines should also be reflected in a brand book to be created. In addition, the company wanted to undergo a packaging layout redesign. The major challenge was to refresh the company’s image while keeping its identity and the most iconic and recognizable features.


Science Crunchers analysed all graphical elements currently in use by the client to identify the needed changes and the features to be kept and transposed to the visual identity elements to be developed. All visual guidelines were aligned with the Client’s logo, brand positioning and history. In particular the “cut” in the letter t was used as an inspiration to guide the visual identity. The forward slash (/) was defined by the client as the driver of the visual identity, yet with a softer angle. Our design team created icons to illustrate all the Client’s feed additives areas and new document layouts for several communication materials. The Client’s slide deck presentation was revised, and all visuals were redesigned. Plus, a presentation template was prepared – a clean, ready-to-use model easily adapted to different areas of the business. In addition, the packaging was redesigned to ensure a better differentiation between product lines.
